| The Agreement area of about 220 sq km is located 74 km north east of Roma and 50 km east of Injune, Queensland. The Agreement covers an application for petroleum tenure ATP701P which allows for the exploration of Coal Seam Gas (CSG). The Agreement falls within the Bungil and Taroom Shire Councils. |

The ATP701P CSG Indigenous Land Use Agreement allows for the exploration and production of coal seam gas (CSG) at a site north west of Brisbane.
The native title party, the Iman Applicants, consented to the grant of an Authority to Prospect for petroleum (ATP701P) in the area. Consent is also given for all other acts necessary to develop, operate and maintain the petroleum exploration and production project. Consent is given for the 'Project Rights', defined as 'all approvals, consents, leases, licences, titles, permits, authorities, renewals and other entitlements required'. This includes: grants for pipeline licences and easements 'to deliver the gas to market'; any grants required under the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (Qld); and '(if necessary) a mining lease required by the Queensland Government to collect salt from the evaporation ponds.' |
