Warringah Council is located on Sydney's Northern Beaches. It services 47,000 ratepayers, 130,000 residents and a diverse range of businesses and light industry.

Warringah has many areas of cultural and heritage significance, including aboriginal sites. Originally the home of the Guringai aboriginal tribe, evidence of their habitation remains today in Rock Carvings, Rock Art, shelters, campsites and middens.
