Diavik Diamond Mines Inc. (DDMI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rio Tinto plc of London, England. Rio Tinto created DDMI in 1996 to manage the Diavik Diamonds Project. DDMI became Project manager on November 29, 1996, replacing another Rio Tinto subsidiary, Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc.

The Diavik Diamonds Project is an unincorporated joint venture between DDMI (60%) and Aber Diamond Mines Ltd. (40%).
