	The Agreement area of 41,156 square kilometres is located approximately 170 kilometres north-northeast of Woomera, and covers an area from Coober Pedy, west to Tallaringa Conservation Park. The Agreement falls partly within the Coober Pedy District Council and an unincorporated local government area.

Summary Information:
The Antakirinja Area Minerals Exploration Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) is a framework agreement made between the Antakirinja native title claim group, the South Australian Chamber of Mines and Energy and the State. It enables the Antakirinja people to authorise the grant of exploration tenements that would otherwise be subject to the future act provisions of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth). Explorers will use the contract format agreed by the parties in the ILUA for each exploration tenement they are granted. Because the contract format - like a template - is determined in this ILUA, explorers will not need to negotiate individually on each tenement. Under the ILUA an exploration contract is accepted for each authorised tenement subject to the 'Exploration Contract 'Conditions". The ILUA specifies that the requirement for consent of the parties to authorise an exploration tenement does not apply to amended exploration contracts and sets out the procedure that will take place if the native title claim group is removed from the Register of Native Title Claims. The ILUA also sets out the effect of breach of essential terms of the Exploration Contract Conditions however it includes provisions for the remedy of such breaches.
