| The Agreement area of about 485.3 sq km is located approximately 129 km north-east of Mount Isa in northwest Queensland.
The Agreement Area is defined as Graticular Blocks NORM 3051, 3052, 3123, 3124, 3195 and 3196 (as defined on the Normanton Graticular Index Map).
The area lies within the Cloncurry Shire Council local government area and the Gulf and West Queensland ATSIC
regions. |

The William Croydon Pty Ltd and Kalkadoon Indigenous Land Use Agreement allows for future mining in a 485.3 square kilometre area north east of Mt Isa.
Under the agreement the native title party consents to the grant of any Mining Lease applied for by the Miner in the area of the ILUA, subject to a set of conditions. The native title party is made up of the registered native title claimants for National Native Title Tribunal claim no.: QC99/32.
The ILUA specifies that the right to negotiate provisions of the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) do not apply to the granting of the Mining Leases in the area. |
