The Northern Land Council (NLC) consented to a water easement project over the Kenbi land claim area for the purpose of bringing water to the Wagait Beach region of the Cox Peninsula near Darwin. The decision was taken at the NLC's 87th full Council in Darwin.
Since this time, Power and Water Corporation and the Cox Peninsula Community Government Council have worked together to commence construction. |
