Summary Information: | ||
The Bathurst 'Opportunities Through Access' Shared Responsibility Agreement (SRA) was signed between the Bathurst Aboriginal community and the Commonwealth government to facilitate better access to employment, training and community services for the community. To further these ends, the SRA provides for community transport and family violence awareness training. Shared Responsibility Agreements are agreements between governments and Indigenous communities to provide discretionary funding in return for community obligations. The new arrangements developed from an initiative of the Council of Australian Governments and replace the previous ATSIC system of funding.
