Summary Information:
The Murdi Paaki region extends across a large area of western New South Wales, from the Queensland to Victorian borders. There are approximately 8700 Indigenous residents in the area. This region is the New South Wales Council of Australian Governments (COAG) trial site. The Murdi Paaki Regional Assembly is the communities' peak representative body; formerly, the communities were represented by the Murdi Paaki Regional Council.
