Summary Information:
Manyallaluk, or frog dreaming is a small Aboriginal community 100km north of Katherine in the Northern Territory. It has a population of approximately 75. The area is bounded by Nitmiluk and Kakadu National Parks and Arnhem Land. The community is also known as Eva Valley, where the Eva Valley Statement was signed in the wake of the Mabo decision. The community is the traditional country of the Jawoyn Aboriginal people, who share this area with other clan groups including the Mayali, Ngalkbon and Rembarrnga. The community runs a strong cultural tourism business.
