53 hectares of land at Lake Condah was granted to the Kerrup-Jmara Elders Aboriginal Corporation under the Aboriginal Land (Lake Condah and Framlingham Forest) Act 1987 (Cth), passed by the Commonwealth Government at the request of the Victorian Government. The Act provides for full management, control and enjoyment by the Kerrup-Jmara Elders Aboriginal Corporation of the land granted to it.
