Mimili 'Mimili Pool' Shared Responsibility Agreement (SRA) is an agreement between the Mimili Community, the Commonwealth Government and the South Australian Government. At the official opening of the Mimili pool in October 2006, the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for Indigenous Affairs Mal Brough said that 'the basis of growth as individuals and as a society stems from a sound educational basis and any push to increase school attendance must be applauded.' He also noted that school attendance had increased since the pool became operational in September 2006. (Pool delivers change in Mimili, Press Realease 2006) |
