    The Armadale Noongar Corporation (ANC) was incorporated in 2004 pursuant to the Aboriginal Councils and Associations Act 1976 (Cth).

    The aims and objects of the ANC include the promotion, support and advancement of economic, employment, social and cultural development and opportunites for the Aboriginal people of Armadale and surrounding towns. It also aims to 'advance trust and friendship among Australian people generally and in Armadale specifically so that Aboriginality becomes a makrk of respect.' (ORAC Corporation Objects and Rules, January 2007).

    The ANC also auspices the Armadale Youth Program in partnership with World Vision Australia (World Vision Australia Website, January 2007b).
