Pilbara Logistics was developed in 1998 with an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC) grant. It comprises three limbs of operation, 'including crane hire, heavy machinery hire and a waste management service named Pilbara Waste.' (Pilbara Logistics Website, accesssed March 2007)
