Tanami NL is an exploration company, which currently has a major focus in the Tanami-Arunta Province in Western Australia.
Tanami NL has 100% owned interests north east of Alice Springs in the Harts Range/Mordor area and a grant of the Mt Doreen Project tenements under an Indigenous Land Use Agreement, which has provided access to 3,600 kmē of prospective gold and gold-copper terrane which will be explored during 2002.
Tanami began a joint venture during 2001 with Homestake Gold of Australia Limited (Homestake) in the Tanami-Arunta Province. Homestake has recently been taken over by Barrick Gold Corporation, who is now the joint venture partner. Tanami Ltd has two other major joint venture projects, the Newmont Mining Joint Venture (Lake Mackay) and Troy Resources Joint Venture (Kintore). |
