The Office of the Upper Spencer Gulf, Flinders Ranges and Outback (OUSG) has been established to add value to the role of state government agencies in regional areas, and complement the regional development framework that is supported by the government.
The role of the Office is to ensure that all state government ministers and their departments are well informed about regional matters, and a more coordinated approach is taken to policy, planning and service delivery across government to regional communities. The Office services a range of regional communities, providing a sone stop shop for government services, and a link between the community, local people, and Cabinet Ministers. The Office builds relationships between local people and the State Government by establishing projects and partnerships with local communities which seek to fulfill State Government policies. |
