Summary Information: | |
The Mother of All Sheds (MOASH) Program was developed by the Community Development Foundation in partnership with the Department of Agriculture. It provides facilities to schools so that they can create an environment where individual learning styles are recognised and curricula is culturally inclusive. Essentially, the program provides secondhand, portable buildings to schools. These buildings are then used to address identified needs and goals of the school and surrounding community, particularly in relation to access and participation issues, attendance and literacy and numeracy issues.
The buildings are usually provided by the Department of Agriculture. As at May 2007, such buildings existed in nine schools around Western Australia.
