The Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation is registered as an Aboriginal Corporation by the Office of the Aboriginal Registrar of Aboriginal Corporations (ORAC).
According to its rules, the Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation includes as its objects to:
assist and promote reconciliation;
enhance and promote Aboriginal culture in Tasmania in order to aid the teaching and investigating of Aboriginal ancestry;
assist in employment creation and training; and
carry out land management on all Aboriginal land in the Circular Head area.
