| The United Githabul Tribal Nation Aboriginal Corporation is an Incorporated Aboriginal Association under the Aboriginal Councils and Associations Act 1976 (Cth). The objects of the United Githabul Tribal Nation Aboriginal Corporation are to: '(a) Represent, protect, cause respect for and promote the rights, interests and aspirations and the land, cultural heritage and native title of the Githabul people. (b) [B]ring together the Githabul people for the purpose of making decisions and acting on any matters affecting the Githabul people. (c) [L]iase with neighbouring groups of Aboriginal people in relation to native title claims. (d) [A]dvance the health, welfare and self determination of the Githabul people.
