The Inkerman Station Memorandum of Understanding (the MOU) was agreed between the leaseholder of Inkerman Station, Mr Evan Ryan, and Inkerman traditional owners on 23 February 2004. The MOU enables the Kowanyama People to access Inkerman Station and use parts of it for traditional purposes. A permanent camping structure was to be built to facilitate such access and use (Talking Native Title 2004: 5). |
