The Bonya 'Improving Lifestyle - Women & Children' Shared Responsibility Agreement (SRA) is an agreement between the Bonya Indigenous Community and the Australian government. The Agreement comprises two sub-agreements, namely 'Healthy Children' and 'Completing infrastructure work on the Community Women's Centre'. Overall, the SRA provides the funding and resources to complete infrastructure work on the Community Women's Centre, build a BMX track, provide a shade over playground equipment, and develop an oval-type facility. Shared Responsibility Agreements are agreements between governments and Indigenous communities to provide discretionary funding in return for community obligations. The new arrangements developed from an initiative of the Council of Australian Governments and replace the previous ATSIC system of funding.
