The Townsville Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Centre is a cultural centre and exhibit venue for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of north Queensland. The centre showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture, traditions and heritage, hosts performances and visual arts events, and provides facilities for Indigenous artists. The centre was officially opened in August 2005 after over thirty years of planning and lobbying.
