| Te Roroa are a hapu of Ngati Whatua (New Zealand Government). Te Roroa includes three hapu - Ngati Whiu, Ngati Kawa and Te Kuihi (Deed of Settlement). Te Roroa are descended from Ngai Tuputupuwhenua. In the 2006 census, 1,170 people identified as Te Roroa (Statistics New Zealand). |
