The extract of the ILUA from the Register of Indigenous Land Use Agreemens describes the area covered by the agreement as follows: Commencing at the intersection of an eastern boundary of the Croydon Shire Council Local Government Area and the centreline of Fog Creek and extending generally southerly along the centreline of that creek to the centreline of the Clara River; then southwesterly to intersection of the centreline of Borah Creek and the centreline of Norman River; then generally westerly along the centreline of Norman River to a western boundary of the Croydon Shire Council Local Government Area, being the eastern boundary of Lot 2254 Plan PH 1527; then northerly, generally westerly, generally northerly and generally easterly again along boundaries of that Local Government Area to the centreline of Walker Creek; then generally easterly along the centreline of that creek to again a boundary of that Local Government Area; then generally southeasterly along boundaries of that Local Government Area back to the commencement point. Being the land and waters covered by the external boundaries of native title determination application QUD6109/98 Tagalaka People #1 (QC98/43), as accepted for registration on the 29 September 1998, and QUD6020/01 Tagalaka People #2 (QC01/22), as accepted for registration on the 30th July 2001, that fall within the Shire of Croydon, Queensland, as at the time the agreement is lodged. The area of the ILUA also falls within the Cairns & District Regional Council.
Legal Status: Registered with the National Native Title Tribunal on the Register of Indigenous Land Use Agreements on 11 February 2008. This is an authorised Area Agreement under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth).

    Summary Information:
    The Tagalaka - Croydon Area Indigenous Land Use Agreement #2 ('the ILUA') was agreed between the Croydon Shire Council (APPLICANT) and Billy Fortune, Johnny Miles, Joseph Callope, Alma Douglas, Beverly Bowyang, Gertie Douglas, Gladys Callope, Janet Busch, Clara Booth, Janette Owens, Maureen Douglas, the Tagalaka People and the North Queensland Land Council Native Title Representative Body Aboriginal Corporation on 11 February 2008. The purpose of the ILUA is to establish the process for dealing with future council works and activities in the area covered by the ILUA. The ILUA was registered on 11 February 2008 and does not have a stipulated period of operation.
    Detailed Information:
    The parties to the ILUA consent to:

    - no claims of compensation being made by the Native Title Parties in respect of the extinguishment or impairment of native title rights and interests by the construction or establishment of infrastructure as defined in the schedules to the agreement;
    - the continued operation, use and maintenance of the non-extinguishing infrastructure, as well as the continued use of the land and waters on which the infrastructure is located or is adjacent and used in the operation and maintenance of the non-extinguishing infrastructure; and
    - the operation, maintenance, use and dedication by the Minister of Roads within the ILUA area as at the commencement of the agreement.

    The parties also agree that any future council works and activities will follow the process outlined in the ILUA.
