The Life Offices' Association of South Africa (LOA) seeks to promote the interests of registered, long-term insurance companies who conduct business in South Africa through:
an increased understanding of life insurance among the general public;
representation in negotiations with government authorities; and
regulation of the industry.
The LOA is a signatory to the Financial Sector Charter on Black Economic Empowerment.
