    Summary Information:
    The Koori Mail (2 July 2008) reported that the Tangentyere Council, which represents 18 housing associations overseeing the Alice Springs town camps, had accepted an offer from the Federal Government of $50 million for housing and infrastructure upgrades in return for 40 year leases over the land.

    Outcomes:
    According to a press release by Jenny Macklin MP on 10 July 2008, $2.5 million in housing upgrades were underway.
