	The area of the ILUA falls within the jurisdiction of Mount Isa City Council. Lots 51, 53 and 55 on CP 901164 and lots 11, 36, 37, 38, 39 and 41 on CP MPH 40048 as shown on the map in schedule 1. Lot 14 on Plan RD 217 as shown on the plan in Schedule 2 and the Road Area as shown on the plan in Schedule 3. Lots 2 and 3 on AP3558 and that area identified as Bal 1 Bird 12 as shown on the map in Schedule 5.
Legal Status:	Registered with the National Native Title Tribunal on the Register of Indigenous Land Use Agreements on 13 June 2008. This is an authorised Area Agreement under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth).

Summary Information:
The Kalkadoon Industrial Estate Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) was concluded between the State of Queensland (APPLICANT) and William Doyle, Noelene Dempsey, Ilona Parter, Sonny Codren, Hazel Munro, Sue Samardin Jr, Pat Kyle, Connie Cragie and Doug Bruce on their own behalf and on behalf of the Kalkadoon People. The agreement was registered with the National Native Title Tribunal (NNTT) on 13 June 2008. The purpose of the agreement is to extinguish native title over the surrender area for the purpose of industrial development within three areas of the Mount Isa region.
Detailed Information:
The Areas covered by the Kalkadoon Industrial Estate ILUA include the Kalkadoon, Nordale and Mica Creek Areas as defined within the agreement. The parties agreed to the surrender of any negotiation rights and any native title regarding the surrender area. However, the non-extinguishment principle applies to future acts so that any act that would extinguish native title will only temporarily suspend it.
