	The agreement area covers an area of approximately 1.5 hectares, situated 2.9 kilometres south of Yarrabah within the Local government authority of Yarrabah Shire Council. The area is defined as Lease H on plan SP193116 which is within Lot 207 on Plan NR7310.
Legal Status:	Registered with the National Native Title Tribunal on the Register of Indigenous Land Use Agreements on 22 September 2008. This is an authorised Area Agreement under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth).

Summary Information:
The Yarrabah Primary Health Care Centre Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) was concluded between the State of Queensland (APPLICANT) and Les Murgha and Stewart Harris on their own behalf and on behalf of the Gunggandji People. This ILUA provides for the grant of a Trustee Lease to the Queensland government, which enables the construction of a Health Centre on the agreement area.
Detailed Information:
The structure of the Yarrabah Community - as it exists today - was established by the Queensland government through a Deed of Grant in Trust (DOGIT) on 27 October 1986 (State Library of Queensland). Under this arrangement, Yarrabah Council owns the land on trust for the community it serves. This ILUA involved the grant of a Trustee Lease between Yarrabah Aboriginal Council and the State, and the construction of the Health Centre. The services provided by the Primary Health Care Centre include accident and emergency, GP consulting rooms, pharmacy, self-care dialysis and community health services including mental health, oral health, pathology, medical imaging, immunisation, maternity and palliative care (Qld Minister for Health Media Statement).
