The Djarindjin Aboriginal Corporation is an Incorporated Aboriginal Association under the Aboriginal Councils and Associations Act 1976 (Cth). The aims of the association are to support the development and self-development of the Djarindjin community, and to provide health services, education, work and housing to the community. Further, the corporation receives and spends financial grants from the government on behalf of the community and encourages the community members to uphold their traditional culture and beliefs and maintain a functional community.
