Detailed Information:
Barrick (Osborne) Pty Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Barrick Australia, which is itself a division of the multinational Barrick Gold Corporation.

Barrick (Osborne) Pty Limited is the owner of the Osborne mine, which is located about 195 kilometres south-east of Mount Isa. This mine consists of an underground mine at Osborne and an open cut mine at Trekelano. The Osborne mine was divested from Barrick Gold Corporation in May 2010.

Barrick (Osborne) Pty Limited is also party to the Trekelano Term Lease Indigenous Land Use Agreement (National Native Title Tribunal File No. QI2008/012). This agreement appears to have been entered into for the purpose of clarifying native title issues with respect to the area covered by Barrick (Osborne)'s Trekelano mine.
