Cameco Australia is a subsidary of the Cameco Corporation - one of the world's largest uranium producers accounting for 14% of world production from its Canadian and US mines.
Cameco does not currently produce uranium in Australia, however they have been actively exploring since 1996 and are involved in a number of projects in the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
Cameco has two flagship projects in Western Australia are Kintyre and Yeelirrie.
