Summary Information:
The Wallace Rockhole Powerline Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) was agreed between:

The purpose of this Area Agreement is to provide consent for the doing of future acts related to the ILUA project. The project includes the erection of high voltage electricity powerlines to be used to transport electricity from Alice Springs to Hermannsburg via Wallace Rockhole.

Commencement

This ILUA was registered with the National Native Title Tribunal (NNTT) on 13 March 2014.

The Extract specifies the commencement date for the Agreement as 25 September 2013. No end date is specified in the Extract.

The Agreement commences on the Commencement Date, being 25 September 2013. The Agreement will operate for the duration of the Project.

Native Title Provisions

The Agreement provides consent by the parties to the doing of Relevant Acts concerning the Project to erect electricity power-lines.

The Right to Negotiate Provisions of Subdivision P of Division 3 of Part 2 of the Native Title Act do not apply in respect of the doing of the Relevant Acts.

Furthermore, the parties provide their acknowledgment that whilst the Agreement is registered on the Register, all Relevant Acts that may previously have been executed invalidly, are valid.
