Commencement

This Agreement was registered with the National Native Title Tribunal (NNTT) on 26 September 2014. The Extract does not specify a start or end date for the Agreement.

Native Title Provisions

The parties agree that the right to negotiate provisions of the Native title Act 1993 (Cth) do not apply to any Future Act, as the alternative consultation provisions are to be followed instead.

Under Clause 3.1 of the Agreement, the Central Land Council, on behalf of the Native Title Party consents to the surrender of all Native Title rights and interests in the land, to the Northern Territory of Australia, Department of Lands, Planning and Environment.

'Surrender' is agreed to mean the extinguishment of of all Native Title rights and interests in the Land.

'Land' is defined as the proposed Lots 112(A), 113(A) and 114(A), located in the town of Hart Range in the Northern Territory.

Native Title in the ILUA area

The entire area of Harts Range is subject to Native Title Application Chatterhoochee-Mt McMinn (DC2001/064; NTD6064/2001), as accepted for registration on 23 November 2001.
