Summary Information:
The Murrin Murrin Project Agreement was made between Anaconda Nickel and native title claimants. The agreement assures the development of the (AUD) $900 million Murrin Murrin Project in the Western Australian Goldfields. The agreement provides local communities with 20 percent of employment on the mine and contracts will be set aside for Aboriginal construction firms. Anaconda also committed $1 million a year to a trust administered by the North East Goldfields Wongutha Bunna Foundation.
