Detailed Information:
Background The native title application was first made on 1 August 2014. This was a non-claimant native title application. The determination area consisted of 5.539 hectares of land in Queensland. Details of Judgement In this matter, the court was satisfied that: - the application is unopposed; - there are no registered native title claims affecting the subject land, and the two that previously existed have either been struck out or discontinued; and - no one has expressed an interest in claiming native title in relation to the subject land. On this basis, it was found that no native title exists in relation to that part of Lot 46 on Survey Plan 104173, County of Churchill, Parish of Normanby, as shown as the attached area in the annexure to the judgment marked 'A'.
