The NSW Aboriginal Health Partnership Agreement 2008-2013 ('the Agreement') affirms the NSW Aboriginal Health Partnership ('the Partnership) as established in 1995. The aim of the Partnership is to ensure knowledge and expertise is shared between the Aboriginal community controlled health sector and New South Wales health services for Aboriginal people.

Detailed Information:
The Partnership seeks to improve health outcomes by:
- Determining agreed approaches towards Aboriginal health policy and planning;
- Ensuring Aboriginal health is integrated in a sustained manner within NSW health policies, and remains a priority;
- Encouraging partnerships within the health system; and
- Open communication regarding the outcomes of NSW Aboriginal Health Partnership with the Aboriginal community.

The Agreement creates the NSW Aboriginal Health Partnership Committee, which is composed of members from each party. Meetings will occur at least three times a year and will be co-chaired as determined by the parties.
