The Project Agreement for Indigenous Mobile Dental Infrastructure: South Australia and the Northern Territory ('the Agreement') is for the delivery of mobile dental infrastructure to service priority Indigenous communities in South Australian and the Northern Territory. It is formulated to support the delivery of the pilot program, Closing the Gap: Indigenous Dental Services in rural and regional areas which aims to implement mobile dental service models in rural and regional Australia. |

Outputs
The Agreement outlines that outputs will include the delivery of mobile dental infrastructure by South Australia, to provide assistance with the provision of dental services to Indigenous communities in Oodnadatta, Marree, Leigh Creek, Copley and Nepabunna; and deliver mobile dental infrastructure by the Northern Territory in order to provide dental services to Indigenous communities in the Katherine West region, Groote Eylandt, Wadeye and Maningrida.
The Commonwealth holds responsibility for monitoring and assessing the milestone achievements set out as per the agreed outputs within the agreed timeframe and to provide consequential financial assistance in order to support the implementation of this agreement.
The States will be responsible for providing all aspects of delivering the projects outputs as well as reporting on the delivery of outputs and provide financial contribution in order to support the delivery of the components of the projects and in-kind contributions in support of implementation. | |
