    Summary Information:
    The Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Forum (QAIHF) is an affiliate of the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO). It 'is the lead representative agency in Queensland for the Community Controlled Primary Health Care Services' (QAIHF 2004). It was established in 1990 and became an Incorporated Aboriginal Association in 1996, in accordance with the Aboriginal Councils and Associations Act 1976 (Cth).

    The QAIHF is now known as the Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council (QAIHC).
