Summary Information:

The Noongar (Koorah, Nitja, Boordahwan) (Past, Present, Future) Recognition Act 2016 (WA) is an act for the recognition of the Noongar people as the traditional owners of lands in the southwest of the State of Western Australia.

It was instituted as part of the negotiated South West Native Title Settlement Agreement (the Noongar Settlement).
