The Tasmanian Aboriginal community is represented by the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre. The Centre provides information, legal, health and other services to the Aboriginal community. In 1995, the Tasmanian Aboriginal community was successful in securing the return of 12 parcels of land (see the Aboriginal Lands Act 1995 (Tas)).
