Summary Information:
The City of Manningham was created in 1994 by the addition of Wonga Park to the former City of Doncaster and Templestowe, and the excision of an area located in North Ringwood. The City is essentially residential in character with significant areas of public open space combined with non-urban and agricultural environments to the east.

At the time of the 1991 Census of Housing and Population, 89 people in Manningham identified themselves as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders. This represented 0.08% of the enumerated population of Manningham.
