The Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority Act 1972 (WA) repealed earlier Indigenous welfare legislation. It governs most Indigenous land related matters and vests reserves in the Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority which promotes the well being and economic advancement of Indigenous Australians.
