Summary Information:
Nisga'a Tribal Council succeeded the Nisga'a Land Committee in 1955 to pursue land claims on behalf of the Nisga'a People. It united the four clans of Eagle, Wolf, Raven and Killer Whale and their communities.

The Nisga'a Tribal Council negotiated the Nisga'a Final Agreement on behalf of the Nisga'a Nation.
