The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) was etsablished during World War 1. Its vision is to 'be a balanced expeditionary Air Force capable of achieving the Government's objectives through swift and decisive application of air and space power in joint operations or as a part of a larger coalition force' ('Vision Statement'). The RAAF is administered by the Australian Government Department of Defence.
