Summary Information:
Rural Lands Protection Boards (RLPBs) exist to protect rural lands on behalf of the New South Wales community and to deliver specific services to the ratepayers of individual Board Districts. There are presently 48 RLPBs which operate in New South Wales. These Boards are managed by Directors who are elected by rural landholders every four years.

The Boards generally employ Administrative Officers, Administrative Assistants, District Veterinarians, Rangers and Field Assistants in seeking to ensure that local problems are addessed.

Dubbo is located in the Central Slopes Rural Lands Protection Board District of New South Wales.
