| Kereua Te Whatapapa and Rooha Petera succeeded to the interest in a block of land which had been granted to Wiremu Te Whatapapa and Ihipera Maunu. The descendents of Kereua Te Whatapapa and Rooha Petera made a claim before the Waitangi Tribunal for the land to be returned to them. The matter was settled under the Pukaahu (Awakeri Springs) Deed of Settlement. |
