    The Department of Community Development, Sport and Cultural Affairs (DCDSCA) was a Northern Territory Government Department. The Department was formed through the amalgamation of a number of smaller agencies and aims to foster strong creative and healthy communities in the Northern Territory. It was responsible for a wide range of functions and services which included arts, museums and library services, housing and infrastructure, local government and regional development, sport and recreation, regional services and Aboriginal interpreter services.

    In July 2005, the DCDSCA was replaced Department of Local Government, Housing and Sport, which maintains the majority of the former Department's responsibilities.
