An agreement which guides and monitors the implementation of a final agreement in Canadian treaty negotiations.

Extended Definition

The implementation plan sets out the activities and obligations of the parties required to fulfil the agreement It may provide for the establishment of an Implementation Committee for this purpose which is usually to operate for a set period. It does not create legal obligations beyond those identified in the final agreement.
