Durri Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service aims to provide a holistic approach to health care for the Aboriginal communities of the Macleay Valley as well as other areas as determined from time to time.
Their goal is to make primary health care and education accessible to all members of the comunity, in a culturally appropriate and spiritually sensitive manner, endeavouring to improve not only the health status but also the wellbeing of the Aboriginal community.
The service also trains Aboriginal people as health workers and service providers and encourages Aboriginal people to make better use of the other health and community services in the area.
